My good friend Andrew, who produces tahoeticker.com, wrote a piece proclaiming RIP Rocky Mountain News. After reading his story, I visited RMN's website, and haven't been able to tear myself away for the past two hours. I just feel deeply affected by the loss of a paper I had read maybe once in my life. I know that the real reason for my upset is that this has become a sign of the times, another dose of reality in the bleakness of economic recession.
